February 26, 1978… Joe and Cathy made it through the snow from Elk Creek to Springfield, Missouri. They rented a motel on Glenstone Street and headed to the university (SMSU) for a concert.
They watched Shooting Star opening for the band Missouri… GREAT concert, GREAT honeymoon… then they drove the next day to Hartville, Missouri, to get married… but that’s another adventure! Smile
